Bonded Shepherds Who Look Out For Each Other In Shelter, Hoping For a Second Chance
Bonded shepherd and best friends Luke and Leia have each other’s backs. When Leia is in trouble, and she is frightened by something at the Victor Valley Animal Protective League Humane Society in Apple Valley, California, Luke is always there to put a paw over her shoulder to let her know everything is going to be just fine.
This kind of loyalty and devotion to one another is nothing less than admirable, as it is virtuous. And so to the general observer, it makes no sense that they would be surrendered to a shelter, without. The shelter staff thinks that both Luke and Leia were breeding partners, and so it is more than likely that they were part of an illegal breeding operation.
Mystery surrounds these two, however, what is most important is the now. If Luke and Leia don’t find homes soon, they face the prospects of a long internment inside of a shelter, where they will continue to degrade emotionally as life passes them by.
